Hii! I'm dj acidangel from Denton, Texas. 

Over the past few years, the electronic music scene in the DFW area has grown exponentially. 

Especially with the opening of Machina club in Fort

Worth, a lot of really cool underground artists have gotten the chance to play! My new Utopia mix is inspired by the mind-bending jungle/gabber shows I've experienced. 

I threw in some happy hardcore and trance into the mix too.

How would you describe your sound?  We describe our sound as “Crunchy Indie”.  How would you describe your sound? I like to describe my music as alternative pop, sometimes indie pop. It’s a little darker but still has that pop influence.     Who/what inspires your music? Mostly what inspires my music is how I’m feeling in the moment about something or a situation. Kind of a flow of my thoughts. I would say who inspires my music would be romantic partners, artists around me, my friends.    If you could open for any musician/band, who would it be? I would love to one day open for The Beaches. My music is a little different but I think it could work.      What does making music mean to you? What got you into it/keeps you continuing? Making music is definitely important to me. An Interview with Berzerko, July 2022

  Who/what inspires your music?      we draw inspiration from a lot of fem led bands in the hardcore scene, to list a few; we all really like the band Failure, Brainiac because of their drums, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Toenut, Cherubs, and Bauhaus. A lot of post punk influence, and the overall idea that music is not just a collection of “pretty noises”, and rather a shared expression of emotion and essentially a language. How did you come up with the name?      The name is completely and utterly Rivers’ fault. There’s this noise band from the 90’s called Ed Hall that were heavily in the Butthole Surfers scene. But they have this song called “Cedrick”, and 30 seconds in it goes “I’LL JUST GO!
