Who/what inspires your music?


An inspiration I have for my music just comes from life experiences. Anything and

everything inspires me.


How did you come up with the name?


I’ve went thru a few artist names over the years and went by many stage names. One

day I joked around changing my name to “ DAGGER DIOR “ . But then I actually ended

up doing it and never looked back!


How would you describe your sound?


I would describe my sound as modern yet retro but also unique. I try alot of melodies

with my music.


If you had no choice but to become a cover artist, who would you cover?


If I could only cover one artist it would be ……. Probably Travis Scott. And I’d be “ the

Travis Scott cover guy “


If someone wrote a book about your music, what would it be titled?


Pftt I think it would be called something like Young Dumb & Hungry or something of that

nature. Something to catch your eye to pick up a book


Which song of yours was the most fun to write & make?


I have had some great memories making songs in the past so I don’t really have a

favorite. But when I finished the last song on my second EP it felt so good to be done.

 How would you describe your sound? I like to describe my music as alternative pop, sometimes indie pop. It’s a little darker but still has that pop influence.     Who/what inspires your music? Mostly what inspires my music is how I’m feeling in the moment about something or a situation. Kind of a flow of my thoughts. I would say who inspires my music would be romantic partners, artists around me, my friends.    If you could open for any musician/band, who would it be? I would love to one day open for The Beaches. An Interview with Berzerko, July 2022

  Who/what inspires your music?      we draw inspiration from a lot of fem led bands in the hardcore scene, to list a few; we all really like the band Failure, Brainiac because of their drums, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Toenut, Cherubs, and Bauhaus. A lot of post punk influence, and the overall idea that music is not just a collection of “pretty noises”, and rather a shared expression of emotion and essentially a language. How did you come up with the name?      The name is completely and utterly Rivers’ fault. There’s this noise band from the 90’s called Ed Hall that were heavily in the Butthole Surfers scene. But they have this song called “Cedrick”, and 30 seconds in it goes “I’LL JUST GO!
